Oceanic V6 Fins
Product Details
Tests prove the V6 requires less effort and fatigue than smaller wimpier fins - yet provides more speed and power than larger conventional paddle blade fins. This is achieved with the patented Nature's Wing technology by splitting the blade to generate highly efficient thrust or lift like an airplane wing, while reducing the strain on the muscles of the leg and hips by allowing the water to drain between the dual blades.
Underwater Hockey Champions
After extensive trials with Oceanic Vortex V6 Fins, the Great Britain Womens Elite Underwater Hockey Squad have proved that the Oceanic V6 Vortex fin is far superior to any other conventional fin in use. Comparing their times against conventional style fins the split blade technology enabled them to achieve greater speeds, using less effort, over longer periods of time.
The Team were also very excited to find that they are allowed to compete in international competition using split blade technology. In some competitions split blade fins have been banned, because of the performance advantage achieved.
Oceanic is the first company in the world to bring this technology to the snorkel fin marketplace. Using space age polymers such as EVAPRENE, the V6 is lightweight but tough, tough enough to last a lifetime.

Think about it, if you have ever snorkeled, likely with a conventional paddle blade fin, nearly half the time you are kicking you are scooping a blade of water up into the air until the water spills off the blade in all directions. With the V6, the water is expelled through the split between the two blades never being lifted by your leg muscles into the air to be spilled off the blade.
