Seeing action in Vietnam and the Persian Gulf, HMAS Brisbane served in the RAN till 2001. She now lies silent, waiting for those who are daring enough to explore the many treasures hidden away inside the ‘Steel Cat’.  Expect to find big schools of king fish and trevally, bull rays, lionfish, and thousands of smaller fish, who have made this wreck their home.

Cementco Wreck

Cape Moreton
Boat Dive
Max Depth: 34m
An old barge, that is laying upside down just off Flinders Reef.  Covered in coral growth and abundant in large fish, there is plenty to explore here!  The barge’s bottom doors have now fallen off, making penetration into the hull easy.  However, she is starting to fall apart due to recent big storms, so entering the wreck without significant experience or proper wreck training should be avoided.

Max Depth: 37m
A big rectangular rock formation that jumps from the sandy bottom to about 24m.  Covered in trevally, king fish, red emperor, plenty of reef life, and some amazing coral.  Walls 15m high and small caves to explore makes this one awesome dive site.

Moreton Bay
Boat Dive
