Hello again from the Club Adreno Team.
We are delighted to share great news about our fantastic club evening on the 25th of February. We are thrilled to have the pleasure of Audrey Smith , “a Brisbane diving legend” presents the history of how Curtin Reef evolved from a simple project into one of the most fascinating artificial reef systems in the world.
Although the reef system is no stranger to Brisbane Divers, it is rare to gain such a fantastic historical and pictorial insight from someone who has lived, breathed, dived the reef more than most!
Audrey Smith started diving 40 years ago and has in excess of 600 dives logged on the Curtin Artificial reef system, since it’s inception and subsequent growth.
Audrey is a fountain of knowledge and is delighted to share her passion and humour with us about the reef’s development.
Due to the interest we will inevitably have in the presentation, we would ask that everyone RSVP confirms their attendance. We will very much look forward to welcoming you on the evening and hope that this is as educational and inspiring as we believe it will be!
Book your Curtin Reef Double Boat Dive
We are booking a double boat dive trip for the 6th of March and will have a limited number of places available to dive some of the 32 Curtin Reef wrecks. The dives will be led by Audrey and will include full dive briefings and history of the selected wrecks.
