PADI Open Water Dive Course

The PADI Open Water Diver Course is the world's most popular dive course and is a great way to get certified and learn to dive. This course is perfect for those new to scuba diving who want to learn everything needed to safely explore the underwater world.

PADI has split their open water dive course into three different sections:

Knowledge Development - First you learn the basic principals of scuba diving which can be completed at home online or in a classroom.

Confined Water Dives - Once you understand the basics it's time to get your feet wet. The 2nd stage of the course involves dives in a confined environment, usually a pool.

Open Water Dives - Finally you are let loose in the open water, well not quite. PADI instructors explore the open water with you and ensure you are safe and comfortable at all times.
