This Cressi mask doesn't leave any mask marks on the skin, even after extended use. The technique behind this is the high-seal silicone skirt and the fact that the structure of the skirt is differentiated over its various sections, with internal ribs stiffening the parts of the mask that are most stressed.
Lens
The raked lenses have an inverted drop shape (patented by Cressi) and are quite small. The lenses are low-volume and brought as close to the pupils as possible, increasing vision by 25%.
Skirt and head strap
The high-seal silicone skirt is soft and the design of the skirt allows the mask to have a point of contact with the face at a very open angle. The skirt also has a various levels of rigidity. which makes it fit better in the right places.
The headband uses the Cressi system of double injection of an elastomer on a element that is rigid. This way the buckles of the strap can be mounted not on the skirt structure, as is common, but on an indestructible elastic element that tilts on a vertical plane. It can bent sideways on a 180 degree curve. The head strap is very narrow: invisible when wearing the mask.
