Cressi Start Pro MC9 Scuba Package includes:
Cressi's starter pro BCD is designed for the less experienced diver offering simplicity whilst still catering for all the necesssities when diving such as stability and weight integration with 'Bullet-Proof Construction' using 1000 and 500 Denier Cordura. The BCD is also equipped with large markings on the shoulders and Integrated Gravity Type Weight Pockets using Rugged Quick-Release Buckles so that weight is able to be quickly released in an emergency, and is able to hold up to 9kgs of hard block or soft lead weight.
The 'Leonardo' computer uses the RGBM (Reduced Gradient Bubbles Model) algorithm. The RGBM takes into account the phenomenon of micro-bubbles in order to prevent their formation. In over 10,000 real dives monitored by Dr. Bruce Wienke in the Los Alamos laboratories, the formation of micro-bubbles has been studied and evaluated in order to better understand the mechanism behind how micro-bubbles are formed during a dive. It is the most evolved algorithm for reducing the formation of micro-bubbles without compromising dive times.
The performance of this Cressi Compact Octopus is extremely high, although the calibration is regulated so that the inhalation effort is slightly greater than on the XS Compact, to prevent any self-regulating possibility when it is used as a spare regulator.
This Cressi Octopus XS Compact uses the same casing as the XS Compact model made from special hi-tech polymers, the only difference being the yellow front cover. All the parts of XS Compact, most of which are patented, can be found on this regulator.
The mini pressure gauge is designed to avoid excessive strain on the HP hose that connects to the first stage of the regulator. It is also extremely compact with a hose diameter of 11mm and instrument diameter of 50mm.
